Originally the sketch was inspired by online drawing challenges “MerMay” and “Junicorn” in May and June. While painting and feeling into the piece, it reminded me of someone who had the placements of the Sun in Capricorn and moon in Gemini. Riding waves from this pieces put me in a good mood, and in a peaceful yet mystifying headspace.

About the Artist
Caitlyn is an interdisciplinary creatrix currently residing in the Appalachian foothills of Southeast Ohio, specializing in fine art paintings, illustrations, live painting events, and murals. They use a wide variety of mediums and source inspiration from the boundless beauty of nature, wild animals and plant spirits, cycles of life and death, transformation and self renewal.
